The Dangerous Book for Boys

WWSC is an active summer camp for teens to older children beginning from 12 years old to 18. WWSC was born out of the knowledge that youth today do not always have the time for a healthy lifestyle as they work hard during the academic year and often need some time to relax. WWSC is here to bring them back to nature, away from the tension in the urban setting and allow them to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle with peers their own age. WWSC also serves as a platform for them to think and mature relationally together with their friends at camp.

The camp environment provides the rare opportunity for city teens to enjoy good clean fun in a safe environment outdoors while picking up important life and interpersonal skills such as first aid, fishing, cooking, arts and craft.

A typical day will involve

• Breakfast by the river
• Chilling out and fun in the waters
• Morning discussions over the Bible
• Sports and exercise - touch footy, ultimate frisbee, hiking
• A good lunch
• Afternoon craft and building work
• Evening games and challenge games
• A good dinner
• Discussion/talks
• Campfire under the stars
• Sleep
• Tribal time over supper

We foster this environment not only through the location, the design of the camp, the personnel involved and the activities but also through talks and group discussions around the Bible, and the interaction will help campers to experience the joys of being the youth and knowing life as God intended for us.
